Transport Research Arena (TRA) Conference 2010
The first results of BE Logic have been presented during the Transport Research Arena (TRA) Conference 2010, a European forum held in Brussels from June 7th to 10th, where innovation, research and development in the transport and road construction sectors have been presented to more than 1,000 experts and interested parties. Valerio Recagno (D'Appolonia) participated to the Parallel Thematic Session dedicated to Modelling, Estimated and Evaluation on June 8th, and to the relevant Poster Session on June 10th.
High Level Support Group meeting
The second meeting of BE Logic High Level Support Group has been held on April 15th, 2010 in Amsterdam (WTC Schiphol). During the meeting the intermediate results achieved by the project have been presented to HLSG members, including Benchmarking for transport chains, Analysis of inland terminals, Desing and development of the E-benchmarking Tool, Benchmark of logistics from policy perspective and Quality standards from transport logistics.
BE Logic launches a Delphi Survey for quality standards in transport and logistics
BE Logic has launched a Delphi Survey to analyse existing standards for logistics quality and their acceptance by the market. More than 300 experts have been invited to express their opinions and comments thus contributing to the definition of improved or new quality standards for transport and logistics in Europe.

BE LOGIC E-Benchmarking Tool - Beta version now available
The beta version of the BE Logic E-Benchmarking Tool is now accessible clicking here. The Tool, which has been designed for the usage of experts from the transport and logistics sector, offers the possibility of assessing the performance of a given logistics chain, and to benchmark such performance with possible alternatives, for the identification of potential improvements.
The Tool may be used free of charge, although registration is required. For more information, please click here to download the software user manual.
Conference “Vervoerslogistieke Werkdagen” - Deurne
On 12 and 13 November Jeroen Bozuwa (Ecorys) and Ronald Jorna (Mobycon) presented the first results of the BE LOGIC project on the Vervoerslogistieke Werkdagen in Deurne (NL), a conference aimed at exchanging ideas and experiences in transport and logistics between researchers, consultants, policy makers and transport and logistics companies.

The first meeting with the High Level Support Group took place in Amsterdam on 26 June 2009. During the meeting the interim results on the transport chain and terminal benchmarking, the quality standards for transport logistics, and the logistics market analysis were presented and discussed.
